Wanda Porter

Wanda Porter , age 70 passed away in Tulsa, OK July 2, 2020.

She was born October 28, 1949 in Wewoka, OK to Caroll Sherrin and Syble Ledbetter Sherrin.

She married Bobby J. Porter January 23, 1968 in Wewoka, OK. He preceded her in death September 25, 2019.

Wanda worked for the Senior Citizens Center Wewoka as cook for many years.

Preceding Wanda in death are her parents, husband , son Billy (Pete) Porter and sister, Louise Dobson.

Wanda leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Charlene Bristow, of Wewoka, OK, Tina McCoy of Shawnee, OK; one son, Bobby Porter (Opossum) of Wewoka, OK, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.

First services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at First Assembly of God Church Wewoka with Pastor Matt Stubblefield officiating. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
