Varnum High School cheerleaders competed in their first OSSAA Game Day Cheer competition last Saturday at Stroud High School. Sadly, they were not in the top 15 teams to move on to the next round of the competition. Even though they did not make it, the team members all said the competition was a good experience for them. The cheer team’s next performance will be at home- coming during halftime at the boys’ basketball game November 17th. This is the final year of cheering for seniors Kerri Benard, Laura McCutcheon, Kamryn Brewer, and Morgan Kinsey.
Read moreVamum High School’s Senior Night will be held on November 19th in the new gym. Senior Night will begin at 6:00 p.m. before the boys and girls’ games against Pittsburg. The seniors will be announced alphabetically alongside their parents on each end of the court. Once they are announced alphabetically, the seniors and their parents will meet in the middle of the court, have their picture taken, and then will exit the court for the next senior and parent to be introduced.
