Randall Bruce Robinson
Robinson Randall Bruce Robinson passed away at the age of 57 at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma on March 8, 2024. Born December 16, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to A.L. Robinson and Betty Sue (Hyer) Robinson, Randall was number six of seven siblings.
At the age of five, his family moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma where he attended Muskogee Public Schools and Hilldale Public Schools. He enjoyed playing football, baseball, track, and wrestling. He stayed in contact with many of those lifelong friends.
He met the love of his life Latricia Diane Williams in 1992 and they were married in 1993. She was responsible for leading him to Christ. They would have been married for 31 years on March 13th.
Randall had fought kidney failure for several years and never really recovered after COVID.
Randall was a member of the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Department, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department Detention Center and retired from the Seminole Fire Department. He had worked for the City of Seminole and had his water license class A and class D. He was working with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections at the time of his death.
Randall was a member of the Temple of Praise in Seminole, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he could find time. He was very knowledgeable about airplanes, tanks, cars and motorcycles. Anytime he was driving down I-40 by Tinker, he always wanted to look at the planes. He loved history but hated OU football. As a child, he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Randall was very protective of his family. He had a nickname for just about everyone and you knew he loved you, because he teased you endlessly.
Randall is survived by his loving, darling wife, his son Matthew Williams of Seminole; sisters Barbarra Montague of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Traci Robinson (Jett) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers Robin Robinson of St. Lucci, Florida and Russell Robinson of Muskogee, Oklahoma, his mother-in-law; Agnes Williams, numerous nieces and great-nieces and nephews and great-nephews and loved each one of them. He had several brothers from another mother, Bruce Young, Charles Pearson, Jr., Kyle Beaver, Mark Walters, and John D. Shackleford. Also, his John H. Lilley Correctional Center Family.
Preceding him in death are his parents, A.L. and Betty Robinson, brothers Andrew L. Robinson and David Gene Robinson and father-in-law Herbert Williams.
The family would like to thank the ladies and gentlemen of Fresinius Dialysis of Shawnee for their loving care and support through his illness.
A Celebration of Life Service for Randall will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Nance officiating.
