Sheri Dee Keyes Sleigh, a North Augusta, South Carolina resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Augusta Georgia, at the age of 56 after a courageous fight with cancer. Sheri was born July 7, 1966 in Chowchilla, California, to Claude and Earlene (Knight) Keyes Williams. She was a Strother High School graduate and earned her BSN from Oklahoma Baptist University. She was a United States Air Force Veteran and a member of Harvey Road Baptist Church.

Sheri loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, shopping, traveling and pestering us all while playing board games. She had a funny sense of humor. She loved and was loved by many.

Sheri is survived by her husband, Chris Carter; daughter, Savanah Sleigh; her sons, Scout Sleigh and Seth Sleigh; her mother, Earlene Williams; her sister, Terri (Rickey) Marquis; Amber McNabb who she loved like a daughter and many other friends and family.

Sheri is preceded in death by her dad, Claude Keyes and niece, Tillie Ann Marquis.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Harvey Road Baptist Church with Colton Arbuckle officiating.
