Salina Mae (Hill) Alexander, age 89 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 25, 2020.

A wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 th at her home located at 306 Lincoln Dr. in Konawa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 th at High Springs Baptist Church Pavilion of Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Rev. Jimsey Harjo and Skip Foster will officiate.

Salina was born September 13, 1930 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Dave C. Hill and Lizzie (Yahola) Hill.

She married Leo Amos Alexander, Sr., and she was a certified medical assistant for McCall’s Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma

She is survived by one son, Leo Alexander of Konawa; two daughters, Shirley Torres of Seminole, Oklahoma and Serena Alexander of Ada; two brothers, Kenneth Hill and Calvin Hill, both of Okemah; three sisters, Esther Wesley Watts of Claremore, Oklahoma, Togee Wesley and Nellie Hill, both of Okemah; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Lizzie Hill; her husband, Leo Amos Alexander, Sr.; five brothers, Dave Hill, Adam Wesley, Daniel Wesley, Chapman Hill, and Darrell “Spooky” Wesley; her step-mother, Mandy (Screechowl) Hill; one grandchild, Alvin Alexander; and three great grandchildren.
