Joan Bartosh

Joan Isabell Bartosh, 79, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, at her home in Seminole.

Joan was born on July 20, 1940, in Denver, Colorado to parents Delbert Valentine Coates and Grace (Johnstone) Coates.

Joan married John Bartosh on August 7, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2011.

Joan is survived by her two sons, Delbert J. Bartosh and Scott M. Bartosh, all of Seminole, Oklahoma, her brother, Calvin Coates.

Joan is survived by five grandchildren, Garret Bartosh, Heather Bartosh, Brian Subelka, Jonathan, Angie Bartosh, and Amy Wilson.

Five great grandchildren also survived Joan, Taylor, Brayden, Abagail, Nick and Blake.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Valentine Coates and Grace (Johnstone) Coates, her husband, John Bartosh, two sisters and one brother.

Graveside services are being held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, east of Seminole on Highway 270, with Russell Vicars officiating.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
