Minnie Pierce

Minnie Belle (Wood) Pierce, 85-year-old longtime Seminole County, Oklahoma resident, pass from this life Monday, August 19, 2019 at Okmulgee Medical Center. Minnie was born to Walter Wood and Munnah (Wilson) Wood.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Cecil and his wife Peggy of Maud, Oklahoma, Chad Cecil of Seminole, Oklahoma; three daughters, Kesandra Sneed of Checotah, Oklahoma, Janet Simons and her husband Randy of Maud, Oklahoma, Christine McKee of Seminole, Oklahoma; one brother, Dick Wood of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Molly Wood of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, by first husband Bill Cecil and by her second husband Billy Jo Pierce.

A wake service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Casket Bearers will be: Michael and Tyson Schultz, Nick Simons, Gavin Bettelyoun, Billy Cecil and Randy Wood and Randy Simmons.

Honorary Bearers will be: Randy Simons, Mike White, Steve Woods, Bryan and Brad Dorsey, Shadow Cecil, Gary Simmons and Patrick Bates.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
