Makayla Blanton

Makayla Marie Blanton, 15 years old, of Wewoka, passed Saturday September 25, 2021 at her home.

She was born on April 25, 2006 to her biological parents the late Amanda Barns Blanton and Darren Blanton and later adopted by her parents of the home Darrel Lee Blanton and Angela Marie Blanton.

Makayla was a student at the Academy of Seminole and was a sophomore in High School.

She is survived by her parents Darrel and Angela Blanton of the home, siblings: Dayton Blanton of the home, Christopher Blanton of the home, Allyanah Blanton of the home, Madyson Nelson of Shawnee, Keyton Blanton of Wewoka, Blake Blanton of Wewoka, Hailey Blanton of Wewoka, Derrick Blanton of Wewoka and Austin Blanton of Wewoka. Grandparents Keith and Cindy Quinalty of Cromwell, Dickie Buss of Wewoka, Tammy and Gary Hayne of Montana, one nephew and a host of friends and family.

Makayla is preceded in death by her biological parents Amanda Barnes and Darren Blanton, Grandfather Darrel Blanton and Grandfather Roy Linal Alhop.

Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Saturday October 2, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole. Officiating is Rev. Josh Pollock .

Burial will be at the Family Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
