Glen Littles passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Glen was born on January 4, 1930, in Parker, Arkansas to Robert Elmer Little and Josephine Lucille (Tefteller) Littles.

He was raised in Texas. Glen later moved to Oklahoma where he married Ellen Louise Mitchell and had three children of the marriage.

He then moved to Mesquite, Texas where he opened Fashion Barber Shop in 1962. He specialized in razor cuts and loved flat tops. Barbering was one of the loves of his life.

He married Dianna Jean Littles later and moved to Forney, Texas. After several years in his late 80’s he retired because of his eyesight. They continued to live there until the death of Dianna in 2019. He then moved to Seminole, Oklahoma with his family.

Glen had a very special friend Ted Kiser, whom he adored. He loved to mow, work in his yard and small garden. He had a green thumb. Glen loved cake donuts and coffee. He had a special dog named Pumpkin that no one liked but the two of them were best buds. While living in Seminole, Glen went to line in Avonlea Assisted Living, where he met another great friend Don Ramsey. They became prayer partners and studied the bible. Due to his eyesight, Glen could not read so Don would read the bible to him. He loved the Lord and was ready to go home to Heaven.

With only a fourth grade education God gave Glen the ability to get a US patent for a lighted door knob. Not having an education did not stop him from following his dreams. He loved buying and selling cars. He loved antiques. Glen also enjoyed sitting and playing his harmonica.

Those left to cherish Glen’s memory are his daughters, Glenda Littles of Seminole and Debra Littles Hinkle and husband and a special son-in-law to Glen, Ron of Eufaula, Oklahoma; sisters, Shirley Fay Laurence and Lillie Pearl Ryan of Texas; grandchildren, Cassi Redding, Andi Dinwiddie, Cory Littles and Kacie Littles; great grandchildren, Haley Redding, Zev Dinwiddie; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and special friends.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dianna Jean Littles; son, Glen Littles, Jr.; one stillborn child and nine brothers and sisters.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Avonlea Assisted Living, Humanity Hospice and Dr. Randall Kemp for all they have done.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Ted Kiser officiating.

Considering COVID concerns the family requests that masks be worn.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
