Linda Horn

Horn Linda Nelle Bland Horn was born on November 28, 1946 to Bill and Edva Bland of Wewoka, Oklahoma. Linda graduated from Wewoka High School where she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Horn. They were married on April 21, 1966, and were together for 41 years until Bob passed away in 2007. Linda gave birth to Michelle Renee Horn on November 25, 1966 and later gave birth to Robert Dale Horn, Jr. on April 23, 1969.

Linda began working at CR Anthonys while in high school and after graduating, she worked at Security State Bank in Wewoka where she moved up fast into the Lending Department. She moved to Oklahoma City and started working for Continental Federal Savings and Loan. After becoming loan manger she decided to open her own title company for many years.

Family was everything to Linda! She had 8 brothers and sisters, and they meant more to her than they could ever imagine! She loved them more than anything in the world. She enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially watching her children’s ball games. She made an extra effort to make every game even though she was trying to run a business.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Edva Bland; her husband, Robert Dale Horn, Sr., her daughter, Michelle Renee Horn; and her brother, Billy Bland. She is survived by her son, Robert Dale Horn, Jr. and grandson, Daniel Foster.

Graveside Services for Linda will be Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Visitation will be at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home 1820 S. Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from noon to 8 pm and Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 8 am to 8 pm.
