Patton Jo Ann Patton passed away in her home October 18, 2024 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Talihina, Oklahoma July 7th, 1939 to Jefferson and Josie Colbert Miller. She raised a large family loved puzzles, books, flowers, plants, crosswords and cookouts. Spending time with her family was so important to her. Jo Ann worked as a Care Giver during her working years.

Survivors include nine children, Linda Patton of Oklahoma City, Randy Patton of Wewoka, Michael Patton of Bowlegs, Tommy Patton of Tecumseh, Kevin Patton of Wewoka, Kenny Patton of Oklahoma City, Teresa Blanton of Praque, John Patton of Cromwell, and Deanna Patton of Checotah, A total of seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren, one sister, Loretta Miller.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, brother, Herbert (Butch) Miller and one daughter, Robin Miller.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Little Quarsarty Church with burial at the church cemetery. Rev. Dan Factor will officiate.

Wake service will be held on Tuesday evening at the church, Body will be present for viewing at five.

Friends and family may begin viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning, DON’T CRY FOR ME Don’t cry for me. I will be okay.

Heaven is my home now, and this is where I’ll stay.

Don’t cry for me. I’m where I belong.

I want you to be happy and try to stay strong.

Don’t cry for me. It was just my time, but I will see you someday on the other side.

Don’t cry for me. I am not alone.

The angels are with me to welcome me home.

Don’t cry for me, for I have no fear.

All my pain is gone, and Jesus took my tears.

Don’t cry for me. This is not the end.

I’ll be waiting for you when we meet again.
