Kenneth “Jiggs” Vaughn Coker passed away on June 18, 2024 at the age of 85. He was born on January 26, 1939 in Seminole, OK to William & Ellen (Jones) Coker. Jiggs graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1956. A proud US Army Veteran, Jiggs served from 1961 until 1967.

He married his wife, Lois Macomb, in 1969. Together, they raised two children, Gerald and Alice. Lois passed away in 1996.

Known to some as Jiggs, others as Ken, one thing for certain, to know him was to love him. He always had a smile on his face & his laughter was infectious. He loved to joke around with everyone. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Proceeded in death are his parents William and Ellen Coker; wife Lois Coker; brothers Charles “Buster” Coker, Gary “PeeWee” Coker, Keith “Kotcha” Coker; sisters Catherine Tanyan, Annabelle Davis, Maybelline Davis, Sue Wahpekeche.

Left to cherish his Coker

memory are his son Gerald Coker of Oklahoma City, daughter Alice Veach of Villard, MN; grandchildren Shelby Coker of OKC, William Veach of Villard, MN; sisters Sue Tanyan of Tulsa, May Baugh of OKC, Delores (Scott) Henson of El Reno, Lula Mae Gutteriez of TX; Brother Glen (Cindy) Coker of Mannford and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jiggs’ honor to Achena Presbyterian Church in Maud, OK. A memorial service will be held at Achena on July 20, 2024 at 1 p.m.
