Dennis Myers

Dennis Melvin Myers passed away July, 16, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Dennis was born November 6, 1942 to Melvin and Dorothy Sullivan Myers in Wewoka, OK.

He graduated from Wewoka High School in 1960. Soon after he joined the Air Force. He lived in Ardmore for many years where he owned and operated Myers Construction. Moving back to Wewoka, he partnered with his dad for many years. Later, he established Wewoka Window Works making historical replacement wood windows until his retirement.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Jo of the home; two sons, Heath Myers of Gilmer, TX, and Travis Myers and wife, Teresa of Dickson, OK. He leaves behind grandchildren, John and Jon Blackwood, Garrett Myers, Daniel Chamberlin, Jordan George, Madison Mills, and Jacob Myers. His great grands include Audree and Clara Rose Myers, Andersyn George, Wesley and Olivia Mills, and Evie and Wyatt Myers. One brother, Mickey Myers Myers

and wife Kathy, one sister, Ann Baxter and husband Jim, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his first wife Iva Lynn.
