Services for Janetta “Doris” (Castoe) Goodin are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma.

Janetta Doris Castoe was born to James “Jim” and Alma Varner Castoe on January 31, 1938 in Maud, Oklahoma. Doris went to be with her Lord on August 21, 2020.

Doris was born in Maud and graduated from Maud High School.

She married Alvin “Ab” Goodin on December 24, 1955.

Four children were born from this union. James Wesley, Linda Kaye, Randall Wayne and LaDonna Gayle.

Doris worked for the Oklahoma Department of Labor and retired in 2003.

Doris is survived by one son, Jim Goodin of Davis, Oklahoma, daughters Linda Seeger of Conway, South Carolina and LaDonna Cindle of Shawnee, Oklahoma and 9 Grandchildren. Doris is survived by one sister, Billie Clark of Maud, Oklahoma and one sister-in-law, Jean Castoe of Davis, Oklahoma.

Doris had 20 great-grandchildren.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ab Goodin, son Wayne Goodin, grandson Brandon Goodin and granddaughter Jamie Goodin, two brothers, R.D. and Clarence Castoe, two sisters Georgia Minyard and Inez McMahan,

The family will receive friends Thursday evening August 27, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud with Pastor Butch Bradley officiating the service. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma.
