Ducate “Dunnie” Dillone Gross, Seminole resident, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 50. Dunnie was born on February 16, 1973 in Oxnard, California to Charles Edward Gross and Sandra Jean Grant. He lived in California until the age of 10 and then moved to Oklahoma for the rest of his life.
Dunnie is survived by his mother, Sandra Grant of Seminole, OK; son, Diondre Logan-Gross; brother, Dante Greene of Tulsa, OK ; sisters, LaRhonda Conley of Seminole, OK and Ciana Thompkins of Ada, OK; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Dunnie was preceded in death by father, Charles Gross; grandparents, Cornelius and Amanda Grant; uncle, Gregory Grant; two aunts, Charlene and Mary Grant and nephew, Tony Conley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Pastor Nita Moreland officiating. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
