Karnell Nathaniel Fair passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the age of 95. He was born in Augusta, Arkansas to Eldridge and Daisy Fair on Feb 1, 1928. In 1947 Karnell’s family relocated to Wewoka Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters Nellie Mae Myers, and John Ella Stewart, and 3 brothers Earl, Pete, and Bill Fair with half-brothers Clima and Ivory McClellan.
Karnell is survived by his children, Earl Bernard and Kenneth Fair of OKC, and Carla Fair-Wright of Houston, TX, and grandchildren children Evan Wright and Natasha Wright along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The viewing will take place Friday between 5 and 7 p.m. at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, 409 S Wewoka Ave, Wewoka, OK 74884 Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the Cedar Street Church of Christ located at N Hitchite Ave, W Cedar St, Wewoka, OK 74884.
Following services will be the burial at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka followed by a reception (repast) at the Cedar Street Church of Christ.
