Connie Marie Carrigan- Sandt died peacefully on June 19, 2024, at the age of 75, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Connie was born on June 29, 1948, to James and Wanda (Kyle) Carrigan in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1983 and then went on to get her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University in 1985.

Connie took pride in her holiday decorations, inside and out, and was the talk of the neighborhood when she decorated her porch! She loved QVC and talked about the hosts like they were friends. She was always searching for the perfect purse and loved her bling!

Connie was predeceased by her parents, James and Wanda Carrigan of Duncan, Oklahoma.

Her beautiful life will be cherished by the lives of her children, Kristina Bell (Lindy) and Allison Sandt both of Huntsville, Alabama, and her granddaughter Kayla (Trey) of Meridianville, Alabama, brother Randy Carrigan (Elaine) of Blanchard, Oklahoma, nephews Brian Carrigan of Norman, Oklahoma, and Brandon (JV) Carrigan of McLoud, Oklahoma, and best friends Patsy (David) Wesson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Vanessa Dixon of Duncan, Oklahoma.

“We know that we can’t have you but we’re happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.”

A celebration of life will be held at New Hope Baptist Church West in Duncan, Oklahoma on July 13, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. with a burial in Little Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma at 3:00. The family would like to encourage everyone to wear purple, Connie’s favorite color, in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of the causes that she was passionate about, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Food Bank of North Alabama (www.foodbanknorthal. org).
