Carol Ann Johnson (Taylor) was born on February 26, 1963 in Lawrence, Kansas to Lewis Taylor and Ahnawake Hitcher Taylor.
Carol attended school at Haskell and earned her associate degree and would later retire as Postmaster.
Carol married Charles Johnson on April 28, 1982 in Wewoka where they spent a life of love together until April 26, 2012. She was enrolled as Flandred Santee Sioux.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Taylor; husband Charles Johnson IV and daughter, Phoenix Johnson.
Carol leaves behind her mother Ahnawake Hitcher Taylor of Albuquerque, New Mexico and her son Charles Johnson V, and wife Audrey of Wewoka, OK. Daughter Carly Johnson of Cherokee, NC; sister Sharon Mull of Albuquerque, NM; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother Steve Taylor and wife Jennifer of Red Rock, TX special niece Erin Mull of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a host of other relatives and friends.
A wake for Carol will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Wewoka First Assembly of God. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 2:00 PM July 10, 2021. With Pastor Danny Faulkner and Lewis Johnson officiating.
Pall bearers are Samuel Harjo, Brian Harjo, Angel Jacobs, Charlie Jacobs, Francisco Johnson and Andrew Faulkner. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Stanley Johnson, Lewis Johnson, Anthony Jr. Harjo, and Houston Johnson.
