House Bill 3501 (Hardin R-Stillwell & Weaver R-Moore) was passed in the Oklahoma Legislature with overwhelmingly 96% bipartisan support. Yet, Governor Stitt vetoed the measure while expounding his view that tribal governments are illegitimate “without transparency, accountability, and reciprocity.” It seems the Governor is willing to put the physical safety, well-being, and lives of Oklahoma’s citizens at risk in his ongoing feud with tribal nations within the State of Oklahoma.

Yep, it’s been a really tough few years for everyone. In just about every possible conceivable way. Financially, physically, and emotionally, and it hasn’t really mattered how old or young you are – life has stunk in a lot of ways. And this horrible onslaught of stress and grief is definitely taking its toll. People are struggling to make sense of their lives and to carry on with some sense of normalcy.
