Frederick Harper

Frederick “Dean” Harper, 72-year-old Seminole Oklahoma resident, passed away May 16, 2019 in Seminole. Dean was born August 16, 1946 to parents Hansel H. Harper and Opal (Buscher) Harper in Lamar, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center for 15 years.

Dean attended Varnum Public Schools and had worked at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed scuba diving and fishing.

Dean is survived by his brother Mark Harper and his wife Ann of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, his sister Suzanne Watkins and her husband Jerry of Seminole, Oklahoma, nephew Brian Keith “Huff” Harper and his wife Kim of Yukon, Oklahoma and niece Kristi Walker and her husband Robert of Calera, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Harper.

Memorial services for Dean will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Michael Dean Tom officiating.

Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
