Charlotte Nellie Niel is rejoicing with Jesus in heaven today January 18th, 2020 Charlotte was born January 15, 1919 in Brook, Indiana at Grandma Fred’s house to Harry O Meadows and Florence Fred Meadows.
She married Horce Flynn April 1934. They had one son Bernard Flynn born September 31, 1935
She remarried September 1948 to Floyd Hiel. He had one daughter Jennie Hiel born June 21, 1933. They had one daughter, Jennie Hiel born June 21, 1949.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Florence, father Harry and all 7 of her brothers and sisters. Majorie, Rex, Lloyd, Roxie, Raymond, Grace and Jack. Floyd her husband in 1995.
Surviving members: Son Bernard Flynn of Baton Rouge, La., daughter Jennie Maynard and husband Richard of Okla City, Daughter Pamella Aldridge of Cromwell Ok. 10 grand children, numerous great grand and great great grand children.
She celebrated her 101st birthday January 15, 2020
She worked at the Brown’s Military Academy in California as a house mother, a nurses aid at McBride’s Bone and Joint in Okla. City, a cook for Okla. City Schools, Midwest City Jr. High and High School. She worked in the daycare at Ridgecrest Baptist Church for many years and managed her own daycare at the age of 70.
Funeral services will be in Cromwell at the First Baptist Church, 10:00 am Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Arcadia, Oklahoma that afternoon at 2:00 pm.
