    Della Pitts

Pitts Della Pitts went to be with the Lord on January 20th, 2025, at 5:00 A.M. She was born February 23, 1956, in Wewoka, Ok. to Frank and Ruth Gore and was raised in Wewoka. Della married Dwain Pitts, November 16, 1972, in Seminole, Oklahoma. She worked at Pioneer Nursing Home for many years, then Maud Nursing Home and retired as head of housekeeping.

Della loved God and her family. She enjoyed spending time with all her family at holidays or family gatherings. Della was a devoted wife, mother, granny, sister, and aunt. She was a shining light to help guide everyone she loved. Della enjoyed playing games on her phone and in her younger years she liked her purses, shoes, and dresses. Della will be deeply missed by all who love her.

Della is survived by her husband, Dwain Pitts, of the home; son, Quinton Pitts of St. Louis, OK; grandkids, Matthew Pitts and Brianna, of Asher, OK, Shelby Haugh, of Colorado, Tristen Pitts and Jessica Sipes, of Yukon, OK, Quinton Pitts III, and Rebekah, of St. Louis, OK; great grandkids, Axel and Carver Pitts, Noah Hagh, Khloe Alvarez, Kayden Sipes, Derrick Pitts, Legend Pitts, and Waylon Pitts; sisters, Maggie Kilgore and Richard, of Wewoka, Hazel Jackson, of Tupelo, OK, Frances Monks, of Bowlegs, OK, Kay Lee, of Wewoka, and Margaret Jackson, of Wewoka; brothers, Frank Gore and Donna, of Bowlegs, OK, and John Gore, of Bowlegs, OK; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ruth Gore; sisters, Linda Henington, Brenda White, and Eunice James; a grandson, Quinton Pitts, Jr.; and nieces Joanie Mooney, and LaRonda James.

Pall bearers will be Matthew Pitts, Matthew Hill, Quinton Pitts III, Frank Gore, Charlie Pitts, and Rich Kilgore.

A graveside service will be Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at Rest Haven Memorial Garden in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
