Darr Timothy “Tim” Darr, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at his home at age 66. Tim was born on December 11, 1957, in Seminole to Roy Eugene Darr and Georgia Mae (Burkhart) Darr. He was a graduate of New Lima High School and attended Seminole State College. Tim married the love of his life, Debbie Harris, on August 6, 1977, in Wewoka.

Tim was a proud employee of Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry. For the past four decades, he worked as co-owner of Oklahoma Sub-Surface Pump and Supply Company, Inc. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed visiting with his wife, sons, and grandchild. He was a classic car enthusiast and hotrod aficionado having drag raced across the state in years past. Tim also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting in his rare spare time.

Tim was a well-loved and lifelong member of the Seminole community, and he will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. His greatest investment was in peoplefrom his employees and coworkers to his large and loving family.

Tim is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie Darr; two sons, Timothy Dustin “Dusty” Darr and wife Kathie of Nichols Hills and Trace Jordan Darr of Tustin, California; granddaughter, Mary Kate Darr of Nichols Hills; brothers Gene Darr of Noble, OK, Gary Darr of Mineral Wells, TX, Alan Darr and Tommy Darr of Seminole; sister Jenny Fairbanks of Shawnee, OK; niece Rita Casey of Seminole; brother-inlaw Dan Harris of Roland, OK; and countless other family and friends.

Tim’s large and supportive family was a source of tremendous strength and support this past year during his journey with cancer and related treatments. His immediate family will forever be thankful for their love and support.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Georgia Darr, William Howard “Corky” Darr, Richard Don Darr and wife Donna; Kenneth D. Darr and wife Barbara, sister-in-law, Peggy Darr; nieces, Debbie Whitt and Diane Darr. We would be remiss if we neglected to mention that he is also preceded in death by his beloved dog and faithful companion, Elmer, who was rarely not by his side in their years together.
