Voletha Comstock

Comstock Voletha “Dolly” Marie Comstock age 97, passed away Monday, October 8, 2024 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born May 24, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Watt Adell Howell and Elizabeth Marie (Sadowsky) Howell. She married Paxton “Sonny” Comstock on July 20, 1945 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

She enjoyed attending church at Midway Baptist Church in Wewoka, playing cards and board games, reading, crocheting, bible trivia, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paxton Comstock; brother, Winton Howell.

Dolly is survived by her children, Donna Cofer and husband James Cofer Jr. of Holdenville, OK, James Bryce Comstock and wife Patti of Marietta, OK; grandchildren, James Cofer III and wife Amy of Wewoka, OK, Samye Jo Comstock of Tulsa, OK; great grandchildren, Xoiegh Jane Comstock of Tulsa, OK, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Keith Warren officiating. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.
