Cline Arthur Ray Cline “Bonnie”, 71 years old Maud, OK resident passed away on September 18, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on September 27, 1952 in Claremore, OK to Lester Cline and Nora Williams. A graduate of Maud High School, Art then went to Roswell, NM to further his interest in mechanics. There he then met his future wife, Cheryle Long. The two were married on May 15, 1971. They then moved back to Oklahoma City, OK where he became a mechanic for Hudiburg. The opportunity arose for a job at General Motors in Oklahoma City where he worked as an assembler in the chassis department. Art worked at General Motors from 1979 until retired from there in 2006.

Art loved drag racing! Every chance he had he was racing or watching. He was gifted in building hot rods from the ground up. He could rebuild a motor overnight. Art was very athletic and taught his kids how to play sports. He coached their teams. Art will be greatly missed; for there was one and only one Art Cline.

Art is survived by his four children, Mechelle Anderson of Yukon, OK, Johnny and Shelby Cline of Seminole, OK, Kim and Shannon Akins of Seminole, OK and Chevy Cline of Maud, OK; nine grandchildren, Brittany Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK, Cashen Cline of Iowa, Cheyenne Cline of Edmond, OK, Zach Cline of Seminole, OK, Jayden Cline of Seminole, Nathan Anderson of Yukon, OK, Gabby Anderson of Yukon, OK, Jonathan Anderson of Yukon, OK and Luke Cline of Maud, OK; four great grandkids, Elaina, Nora, Bonnie and Waylon Cline; brother, Lindsey Bondoni of McLoud, OK and many other family and friends.

Art was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryle Cline; mother, Nora Williams; brothers, Jerry Cline and Kenneth Williams.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Cashen Cline, Jayden Cline, Zach Cline, Ricky Cline and John Shaw. Honorary casket bearers will be Lindsey Bondoni, Tony Berryhill and Matt Southern.

Viewing will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.

The wake service will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK.

The funeral service will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Guy Cagel officiating.

Interment will follow at Williams Family Cemetery in Maud, OK.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
