Jeremiah Burton Lozier
Lozier Jeremiah Burton Lozier, Seminole resident, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in Seminole, OK at the age of 47. Jeremiah was born on November 15, 1976 in Holdenville, OK to William Burton Lozier and Debra Kay (Bemo) Lozier.
Jeremiah never met a stranger. Most people knew him from his work in the car industry. It was said that he could sell ice to an Eskimo. His quick wit was always matched by one of his famous one-liners and a joke. As a graduate of Seminole High School, Jeremiah was an All-State golfer. His love of the game never left him. Not only could he drive a ball, but he could also fish with the best of them. Above all else, Jeremiah loved spending time with his daughters. Nothing else compared.
Jeremiah is survived by his mother, Debra Kay Lozier; father, William Burton Lozier; daughters, Jazzi Lozier, Lily Kay Lozier and Morgan Sebastian and their mother, Shannon Sebastian; sister, Leslie Lozier; brothers, Matthew Lozier and wife, Candy and Johnathan Lozier; uncle, Jim Lozier; cousin, Lacy Lozier; nephews, Seth and Shelbi Lozier, Brooks Lozier, Kyng Harrison and Sterling Lozier a host of cousins, other family and friends.
Jeremiah was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Maxine Lozier; maternal grandparents, George and Della Bemo; uncles, Randy Lozier, Herbie Bemo, and Russell Bemo and cousins, Jason Lozier and Michelle Lozier.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Brian Henson, Josh Rollins, Bobby Douthit, Randy Pierce, Rodney Starr and Jason Chambless. Honorary casket bearers will be Shawn Gordon, Matt Lozier, Johnathan Lozier, Cory Dailey, Brian Carter and Brad Heinzig.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made at First United Bank in Seminole, OK where an account will be set up for Jeremiah’s daughters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with Pastor Carl Whitfield officiating. Interment will follow at Lozier Family Cemetery in Seminole. A reception will be held at the funeral home reception room at 1:00 p.m. following burial. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
