D o n a l d “Butch” Wayne Robertson, age 74,
Shawnee, Oklahoma resident, passed away October 26, 2019 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He received and “Honor’s Walk” at the hospital after his death.
He was born January 29, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Carrie Elizabeth (Gaylor) Robertson and Daniel Fetters Robertson.
He was a high school graduate and received an Associate Degree from Seminole State College in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Butch served his country in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1969 and attained the rank of E-5. He received a National Defense Service Medal and an Honorable Discharge.
Butch is survived by his special friend, Kirk Wood and sisters, Carol D. Palmer and her husband Luther and Fleta Walker and her husband James. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dan Robertson, Jimmy Robertson, Sammy Robertson and sister Sadie Chesser.
Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
