Marion Armstrong

Marion Allene (Morton) Armstrong, 75-year-old Seminole County resident, passed from this life Sunday, November 3, 2019 at her home near Wewoka, Oklahoma.  

She was born March 3, 1944 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to parents, Cora Edith (Evens) Morton and Harry D. Morton.

Marion was raised in California where she attended high school.  

On April 4, 1983 Marion married Stephen R. Armstrong.  Marion was of the Southern Baptist faith.

Survivors include 2 sons, Robert Jones and his wife Theresa of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Dwane Jones and his partner Ginger Booth of Hugo, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Betty Driggs and her husband Donald of San Antonio, Texas; 1 brother, Terry Morton of Wewoka, Oklahoma; 1 sister, Connie Thompson of Lincoln City, Oregon; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Russell Morton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Little Cemetery Chapel located in Little Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service.
