Shannan Kaye Montemayor

Montemayor Shannan Kaye Montemayor, Wanette, OK resident passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in Norman, OK at the age of 68. Shannan was born on February 3, 1956 in Shawnee, OK to C.B. and Ovella (Robertson) Nowell.

Shannan is survived by her two sons, Kevin Montemayor of Elgin, TX and Christopher Montemayor and wife, Marlow of Elgin, TX; sister and brother-inlaw, Sue and Gerry Dias of Wanette, OK; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Trevin, Kyle and Erie Moon and many other family and friends.

Shannan loved her family, animals and life. She enjoyed reading the Bible, going to garage sales and sharing anything she had with anyone in need. She always made you feel at ease with her smile and kindness. She never met a stranger who didn’t turn out to be a friend.

Shannan was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
