Fred Lindsey

Lindsey Fred Lindsey age 87, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Ada, Oklahoma. He was born December 11, 1936 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Eddie Lindsey and Lucinda (Noon) Lindsey. He married Susie (Tiger) Lindsey on December 31, 1959 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Susie Lindsey; siblings, Hattie Mae Harjo, Lola Wakatani, Daisey Camp, Aunt T Lagrone, Minnie Poole, and Thomas Lindsey.

Fred is survived by his children, David Lindsey of Wewoka, OK, Joe Herrara Lindsey of Imokly, FL; two grandchildren, brothers, Joe Lindsey of OKC, OK, Andrew Lindsey of OKC, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 and from 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, OK.

Body will be taken at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 to Little Quarsarty Baptist Church in Cromwell, OK for wake service.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 29, 2024 at First Baptist Chrch in Cromwell, OK with Rev. Darrell Coachman officiating, assisted by Rev. Mark Smith. Interment to follow at Lindsey Family Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.
