Alice Peavler

Peavler Alice Buena Peavler, St. Louis, Oklahoma resident, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 80. Alice was born on October 10, 1943 in Corona, New Mexico to Ernest George Massey and Maxine Unice (Gilliam) Massey.

Alice is survived by her husband, Jerry Peavler; three sons, Bobby Kent Miller and wife, Ann, Ronald Dean Miller and life partner, James Blevins and Alton Wayne Peavler and wife, Evelyon; two daughters, Kristel Dawn Hayes (Miller) and husband, Chris and Brenda Marie Underwood and husband, Tecumseh; sister, Patricia Unger and her children, Nathan and Susan; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maxine (Gilliam) Massey; brothers, Michael Massey, Kenneth Massey and Joe Massey.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with Bro. Carl Whitfield officiating. Cremation will follow. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
