Luther James Liddell age 72, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 in Ada, OK. He was born January 18, 1951 in Seminole, OK to the late Richard Liddell Sr. and Evelyn (Smith) Liddell.

He graduated from Wewoka High School. He worked as a Meter Reader for OG&E until retirement. He enjoyed racing cars and motorcycles as well as working on cars. He was a good mechanic and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Cornelious Liddell, Rosezelma Johnson, and Conoway Liddell.

Luther is survived by his children, Novella Liddell Carter (Gregory) of OKC, OK, Nyree Liddell of Hanover, MD, Kenisha Bruner of OKC, OK, Keionna Liddell of Shawnee, OK; grandchildren, Marissa King, Xavier Moore, Tyran Tinsley, Trace Liddell, Karter Osborn, Maxston Liddell; siblings, Luella (George) Doyle of Tulsa, OK, Bobby Liddell of Wewoka, OK, Carleta (Robert) Collins of OKC, OK, Richard (Tina) Liddell Jr. of Spencer, OK, Larry Liddell Sr. of MWC, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 5, 2023 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Minister Kevin Hardeman. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.

Pallbearers: Rodney Johnson, Jerome Johnson, Barry Liddell, Eric Johnson, Richard Johnson, Wesley Roberts.

Honorary Pallbearers: Aubry White, Tommy Payne, Gary Smith, Richard Liddell Jr., Bobby Liddell, Larry Liddell Sr., Kevon Chandler.
