Carolyn Sue (Cole) Hooper, age 72 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away September 28, 2023 at her home.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.
Carolyn was born February 19, 1951 in Oklahoma City to James R. Cole and Mary M. (Smith) Cole.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Hooper of the home; one son, Steven Burns of Guthrie, Oklahoma; three daughters, Carolyn Lamb and husband, Jeff of Newalla, Oklahoma, Jamie Berend and husband, Joe of Newalla, Oklahoma, and Kandy Morris of Oklahoma City; one brother, David Cole of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mary Lou Hernaiz of Marietta, Oklahoma, and Sharon Williams of Ardmore, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, Michael and Tyler; three sisters, Barbara McKee, Shirley Cole, and Ella Williams; and one brother, James Cole, Jr.
