Terry Gene Fixico

Terry Gene Fixico, age 65 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away August 13, 2023 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City surrounded by his loving family.

A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at the funeral home. Rev. Bill “Skip” Foster will officiate, and burial will follow at High Springs Cemetery.

Terry was born September 19, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona to Charles M. Fixico and Nancy Sue (Dunson) Fixico.

He is survived by three sons, Brian Gene Fixico and wife, Toni of Yukon, Oklahoma, Shaun Christopher Fixico of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Jordan Lee Fixico and Connie of Konawa; one daughter, DeeDee Bryan and husband, Eric of Seminole, Oklahoma; five brothers, Charles M. Fixico, II and wife, Glenda of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Stanley C. Fixico and wife, Emily of Konawa, Christopher N. Fixico of Okemah, Oklahoma, Randy C. Fixico and wife, Shelly of Moore, Oklahoma, Eddie J. Fixico of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Marilyn S. Fixico and Leon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Patricia G. Harjo of Oklahoma City; companion, Pam Frazier of Konawa; ten grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Nancy Fixico; one brother-in-law, Harold Harjo; and one uncle, Boots Fixico.
