Barbara Ann Fletcher, Maud, Oklahoma resident, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 in Shawnee, at the age of 83. Barbara was born on September 22, 1939 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. She married Verlin Fletcher on June 20, 1955 in Ada, Oklahoma. She grew up and spent most of her life in St. Louis and Maud.

Barbara is survived by her son, Cary and Karen Fletcher of Maud; daughter in law, Brenda Fletcher; sister, Linda and Lou Schaflander of Seminole; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 great great grandchildren on the way; and many other family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Lena and M.P. Presley; husband, Verlin Fletcher; son Larry Don Fletcher; granddaughter, Brandy Fletcher; sister, Norma Presley; brother, Bill Presley and great grandson, Gatlin Ruger McDonald.

Viewing will be Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma with Pastor Butch Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
