Marvin Briggs, Jr.

Marvin Ray Briggs, Jr., age 75 and a former resident of Seminole County, passed away April 7, 2023 at Ballard Nursing Center in Ada, Oklahoma.

A graveside memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Vamoosa Cemetery, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Linda Briggs will officiate.

He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Bastible of Stonewall, Oklahoma, Leatessha Countryman of Ada, Oklahoma, and Dalena Mattson of Searcy, Arkansas; sister, Pat Douglas of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma; two brothers, Denny Briggs and Jerry Moore, both of Texas; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Marvin Ray Briggs, III; and one brother, Tommy Briggs.
