Dorothy Maud (Bryant) Eversole
Dorothy Maud (Bryant) Eversole, lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away at the age of 79 on February 15, 2023, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born on July 6, 1943 to parents Charles Clayton Bryant and Virgie Ruth (Carroll) Bryant. She grew up in Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School in 1961. She married Jimmie Eversole on June 15, 1968, at the First Baptist Church and sadly he passed away on February 7, 1992.
Dorothy worked as a cook making onion rings from scratch at the Seminole Sonic for 20 years until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning shopping and traveling.
Dorothy is survived by her son; Charles Wesley Eversole and his wife Amber of Seminole, her daughter; Kristi Reeves and her husband Philip of Seminole, her brother; Frank Bryant of Shawnee, grandchildren; Lyndin Neske, Adam Eversole, Auton Smith, Charles Eversole, MJ Eversole and Jay Eversole and great-grandchildren; Bentley Eversole, Braxton Smith, Sophia Harjo and Frankie Harjo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and sisters; Juila Montin and Caroll Hendrick.
The Funeral Service for Dorothy will be at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel at Little Cemetery with Mary Ann Tiner Kovene officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Charles Eversole, Bentley Eversole, MJ Eversole, Rood Blanchard, Philip Reeves and Joe Morgan. Honorary bearers will be Kristi Reeves and Lyndin Neske.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
