Denavarie (Ray) Quintel Brooks 37, passed away Saturday December 31, 2022, in Ada, OK. He was born on December 2, 1985, in Oklahoma City, OK to Samuel L. (Poochie) Brooks and Cherri D. Morgan- Madkins. He is preceded in death by Father Samuel Brooks, Paternal grandparents Samuel Sr. and Viola Brooks and Ida B. Madkins; maternal grandparents Felton Morgan Jr. and Doris Graham- Liddell. Father-inlaw Terry Miller.

Ray is survived by his wife Kasey Brooks of the home, parents who raised him Mother Cherri Madkins and stepfather Stanley Madkins of Wewoka. Siblings Kimberly Madkins, Craig Madkins, Samuel Washington, Monique Washington, Nakita Washington, Tony Bruner, Johnathan Henry, Darien Henry, Brittany Henry, Mieka Graves, Austin Madkins, Eric Grauthaus, Tenetke Arthurs. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 14th, 2022, at New Life Church in Wewoka, OK with Reverend Willie Guient officiating. Burial to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK. Masks are mandatory.
