Sandra Alexander

Sandra Marie (Reed) “Sandy” Alexander, age 77 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away from this life October 7, 2022 at her sister’s home in Konawa under Traditions Hospice loving care.

A private family memorial will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and burial will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Sandy was born April 26, 1945 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania to Harold Douglas, “Doug” Reed and Myrtle Lucy (Williams) Reed. She married Frank “Soka” Alexander May 6, 2003 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

She is survived by three sisters, Jackie Calhoun and husband, Michael “Mike” of Konawa, Linda Palmer and husband, Michael of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Debbie Reed of El Dorado Hills, California; and numerous nieces, nephews, and

friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Alexander on January 24, 2010; her parents, Doug and Myrtle Reed; and one brother, Wayne Reed.
