Betty Estep

Betty Sue Estep, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 7, 2022, surrounded by her devoted husband and loving family.

Sue was born on June 20, 1935 in Wewoka, OK to D.B and Irene Pierce. She was strong, beautiful, faithful, and nurturing. Sue married Richard Estep on June 27, 1954, and together they enjoyed over 68 years of marriage.

Sue was a fiercely dedicated matriarch, who always protected and cared for her family and anyone else in need of help. Her cooking was unrivaled, and no one ever left her home without a delicious home-cooked meal and a full heart.

Preceding Sue in death are her parents D.B and Irene Pierce; son Keith Estep; grandson Ryan Hill; brothers Ralph Pierce, Glen Pierce, John Pierce, Sr., and David Pierce; and sister Helen Jones.

Sue is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Connie Hill and husband David; granddaughters Malisa McPherson and husband Travis, Alesha Hunt and husband John; great grandchildren Makena Baker, Maliya McPherson, Kale McPherson, Brixton McPherson, Toby Hunt, Ainsley Hunt, and Carson Hunt; brother Ronnie Pierce and wife Linda; sister Patsy Davis and husband Jeff; and

Estep

numerous other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK on October 12, 2022 at 2:00. Officiating will be Rev. Roy Robertson.

Pallbearers include: Travis McPherson, John Hunt, Scott Pierce, Stuart Pierce, Wade Pierce, Thomas Davis, John Pierce Jr., Mike Estep, Kevin Jones, Koty Kinoshita, Brian Bosworth, and Nick Bosworth. Honorary pallbearers include: David Hill, Jeff Davis, and Rick Estep.

The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center and Emerald Hospice for caring for Sue.
