Dustin Herriman
Dustin Eugene “Dusty” Herriman, age 29 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away July 15, 2022.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Performing Arts Center at Konawa High School under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Ed Bray and Rev. Dave Herriman will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Casket bearers are Paul Caldwell, Josh Cornett, John Davis, Gary Hulsey, Cody Key, and Jeremy Swadley. Honorary bearers are Jeremy Herriman, Josh Sharber, and Herriman Oilfield Services Employees. A book is available for signing at the funeral home, and the family will greet guests from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Dusty was born July 13, 1993 in Ada, Oklahoma to Ernie Eugene Herriman and Mellissia Carol (Johnston) Allen. He graduated from Kingston High School, and he was the Roustabout Foreman for Herriman Oilfield Services of Konawa for more than ten years. He married Elizabeth Dean Caldwell March 5, 2020 in Konawa. Dusty was an all-around outdoor sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, and going to the race tracks.
He is survived by his father, Ernie Herriman and wife, Sarah of Konawa; his mother, Mellissia Allen and husband, Gill of Kingston, Oklahoma; his wife, Elizabeth Herriman of the home; three daughters, Delilah Smith, Lillian Smith, and Elaina Herriman also all of the home; one son, Briley Owens of Chetopa, Kansas; one brother, Jeremy Herriman and wife, Janae of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; four sisters, Kady Allen of Kingston, Oklahoma; Kaylee Herriman, Gracie Herriman, and Emily Herriman all of Konawa; grandparents, Linda and David Clark of Konawa, and grandparents, Gayla and Ronnie Branscum of Konawa; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernie Herriman, Sr., grandfather, Johnny Johnston, and grandparents, James and Myrna Allen; grandmother, Patricia Sessum; and cousin, Heather Sharber.
