Jo Ann Richards

Jo Ann (McConnell) Richards passed away at the age of 66 on March 13, 2022, at her home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born August 31, 1955, in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Earl Columbus McConnell and Thelma Georgia (Blakenship) McConnell. She married George Richards on August 3, 1973, and sadly he passed away May 10, 2013. Jo Ann was a homemaker.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughters; Michele Brock of Dale, Oklahoma and Gina Dunn of Seminole, Oklahoma, her brother; Marvin McConnell of Lawton, Oklahoma, her sister; Norma Jean Taylor of Goldsby, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.

The funeral service for Jo Ann will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
