Larry Johnson

Larry James Johnson age 60 departed from this life Wednesd a y , November 24, 2021. He was born August 1, 1961 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Benjamin Johnson and Cora Thomas Wesley. He was raised by Father Benjamin Johnson and Mother Winnie Harjo. He graduated from Bowlegs High School. He joined the National Guard shortly after High School. Larry was an ordained Deacon at Okmulgee Baptist Church. Larry was a laborer for Walmart for many years.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents and infant sister.

He is survived by his daughters; Ashley Johnson of Altus, Kalonie Johnson of Altus, mother of his children Teresa Lobaugh, brothers; Jimmy Carpitcher and wife Maxine of Sasakwa, James Deere of Muskogee, Glen Gibbs and wife Nelsie of Wewoka, Eddy Jo Lewis of Goldsboro, NC, sisters; Johanna Walker and husband Ed of Byng, Julia Scott and husband Quinton of Ardmore, Jean Bowles of Warner Robins, GA, Sandy Hodge and husband Craig of El Reno and numerous other relatives and friends.

Wake Service was 3:00- 5:00pm on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Stout-Phillips Chapel Wewoka, OK. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, OK.
