Wanda Mae (Bell) Bounds, age 83 and a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on November 7, 2021 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.

A Wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, November 10th at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11th at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Wanda was born June 12, 1938 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jimmie Bell and Nellie (Yeager) Bell.

She graduated from Moss High School, and attended college. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Wanda married Jack Bounds in March of 1989 at their home at Dora Hill.

She is survived by two sons, David Jackson and wife, Gail of Konawa, and Bryan Wells also of Konawa; two daughters, Marilyn Dinwiddie and husband, Carl of Seminole, and Kathy Jackson Hernandez of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Falisha, Carrie, Maelynn, Wesley, Memory, and LaTasha; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Nellie Bell; husband, Jack Bounds; two brothers, Charlie Bell and Raymond Bell; three sisters, Eleanor Waterman, Mollie Leader, and Joann Lowe; one grandson, David Jackson, Jr.; and one great grandson, Angel DeLoera.
