Barbara Nan Barner, Prague resident, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Barbara was born on August 27, 1938, in Maud, Oklahoma to Arthur Otto and Iva (Patterson) Garner.
She spent most of her life in the Maud area. She retired after 33 years of service as the business manager for Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, sewing, spoiling her dogs, spending time with her family and cooking.
Barbara is survived by her son, Ron Silas and wife, Diane of St. Louis, Oklahoma; daughter, Tammie Shultz and husband, Brad of Prague, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; many great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Raymond Garner, Glendon Garner, Dale Garner and Bill Garner; son, Nick Silas and granddaughter, Jennifer Shultz.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Cemetery with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
