Alice Marie (Kelough) Sullivan-Miner
Alice Marie (Kelough) Sullivan-Miner, Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away on September 18, at the age of 99.
She was born February 16, 1922 in Salem, Oklahoma to Earnest and Laura Kelough.
She attended school at Hitchita, Oklahoma.
She married James Oscar Sullivan on September 16, 1939 and they were married 31 years until his death. To this marriage was born four children; Norma Sue Hawk, Sharon Kay McCoy, Dessie Murlene Cox and James Ricky Sullivan.
During Alice’s life, she took care of elderly relatives, worked at the Katy Café in Checotah, Oklahoma for 14 years and at the Methodist Day Care Center in Seminole, Oklahoma for 8 years.
Alice is survived by her daughters; Sharon Kay McCoy and Dessie Murlene Cox and her son; James Ricky Sullivan and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James Oscar Sullivan, daughter; Sue Hawk, two granddaughters, and one grandson.
Viewing will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021, from 11:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Council Hill Cemetery in Council Hill, Oklahoma with Jerry Carson officiating.
