Mary Grace (Lucas) Hostmyer, 91, a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, May 6th, 2021 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Mary was born July 10th, 1929 in Nashville, Kansas to Grace (Manson) and Ernest W. Lucas.
Mary Grace married her husband Ellis E. Hostmyer on August 14th, 1956 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. she was a barrelhorse trainer and a rider for 80 years.
Mary Grace was preceded in death by her husband Ellis, her parents Grace and Ernest, one sister Margaret Cavin and brother Dean Lucas.
Those left behind to cherish Mary Grace’s memory are her sons: Roger Whelan and wife Janet of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Randy Whelan and wife Pat of Canadian, Oklahoma; daughter Debbie Johnson and husband Gary, six grandchildren: Chris, Renee, Clint, Jody, Brecka, Jamie, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends
Viewing and visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, May 12th, 2021 at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Thursday, May 13th, 2021 at Integrity Chapel, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers serving will be Grandsons:
Chris Whelan, Clint Whelan, Jody Johnson, Gavin LaValley, Matt Whelan, Dale Frederick, Joe LaValley and Mike Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Special Friends:
