Irene House

Irene House passed away April 10th, 2021 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

Irene was born January 2, 1927 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Ethel (Garner) Byerly and George “Buddy” Byerly. She lived in Holdenville area most of her life. She attended Greenleaf School. Irene married JD House.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband JD House, siblings; Edward, Claude, Jack, Lester, Bill “Sonny”, J.D. Byerly, and 1 grandson. She is survived by her daughter Marlene Leewright Crittenden of Wewoka, son Fred Wendell Leewright of Wewoka, brother, Clyde Byerly, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter, 7 great grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 1:00pm-7:00pm Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Pastor Allen Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
