Myrna Joyce Tiger-Merritt, age 69 years of age, passed away from this life on January 1st, 2021 at Seminole Hospital in Seminole. OK.
She was born on June 14, 1951 to Annie (Hulbutta) Tiger and Rev. Joe Tiger.
Myrna graduated from Sequoyah Boarding School in May 1969.
She worked in Home Health Care.
Myrna married Charles Merritt on October 21,1970. They had one son and two daughters.
Preceding Myrna in death are her parents; sisters, Elizabeth Buckner, Judy Cloud, Martha Bowlegs, Mary Tiger; three grandson’s.
Survivors include son, Michael Merritt of Oklahoma City; two daughters, LeeAnn McPerryman of Seminole, Brittany Merritt of Konawa; twelve grandchildren, one great grandson, two sisters, Nellie Tiger, Nora Jacobs of Wewoka; one brother, Rev. Houston Tiger of Wewoka.
Wake Services will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka and Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Fox and Rev. Eric Thlocco, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tiger Family Cemetery.
