Kedy taught English at Wewoka High School.

Kedy was preceded in death by her husband Claude; sister Patty Hamner; brother Anthony Drizness.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Kedy of Ada, Oklahoma; David Kedy of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a sister, Lucy Bolt of Hartshorne, Oklahoma; and many grandchildren.
